NGC "Show Releases" Designations

NGC may from time to time offer a "Show Releases" designation for select coins purchased from the US Mint booth at trade shows and submitted to NGC at the same trade show. This designation is generally reserved for coins with a release date that coincides with the trade show or a release date shortly before the start of the trade show.

The following is a list of "Show Releases" designations previously offered by NGC. Click on the links to learn more.

FUN SHOW RELEASES
Offered for coins purchased at the annual Florida United Numismatists (FUN) show and submitted to NGC at one of those shows. Coins include:

• 2018-W Proof Platinum Eagles
• 2018-W Proof Gold Buffalo coins
• 2019-W Proof Silver Eagles

LONG BEACH RELEASES
Offered for coins purchased at the annual Long Beach show and submitted to NGC at one of those shows. Coins include:

• 2015 US Marshals Service 225th Anniversary commemorative coins
• 2016 Mark Twain commemorative coins

BALTIMORE SHOW (WHITMAN EXPO) RELEASES
Offered for coins purchased at the annual Whitman Baltimore show and submitted to NGC at one of those shows. Coins include:

• 2016 National Park Service commemorative coins
• 2019 Rocketship Set coins

BEIJING INTERNATIONAL COIN EXPO
Offered for coins purchased at the annual Beijing International Coin Expo (BICE) and submitted to NGC at one of those shows.

PHILADELPHIA ANA RELEASES
Offered for coins purchased at the August 2018 American Numismatic Association (ANA) World’s Fair of Money and submitted to NGC at that show.

DENVER ANA RELEASES
Offered for coins purchased at the August 2017 American Numismatic Association (ANA) World’s Fair of Money and submitted to NGC at that show.

CHICAGO ANA RELEASES
Offered for 2013-W Reverse Proof and Proof Gold Buffalo coins purchased at the August 2013 American Numismatic Association (ANA) World’s Fair of Money and submitted to NGC at that show. Learn more >
